ServiceNow Senior Developer – ITSM

Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow ITSM Senior Developer with deep hands-on expertise in the ITSM suite. The role involves designing, building, and enhancing ITSM solutions while collaborating closely with customers, process owners, and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and configure solutions across core ITSM modules:

Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge, SLAs, Service Catalog.

Build workflows, catalog items, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, script includes, and Flow Designer automations.

Work with stakeholders to collect requirements and convert them into scalable, maintainable technical designs.

Develop integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, IntegrationHub, and MID Server for ITSM use cases.

Support instance configuration, upgrades, testing, and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot issues, provide root cause analysis, and ensure adherence to coding and platform best practices.

Maintain documentation including technical designs, test cases, and deployment notes.

Skills & Experience

46+ years hands-on ServiceNow development experience, with strong ITSM module expertise.

Solid understanding of ITIL-aligned processes and workflows.

Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, and REST/SOAP integrations.

Experience with Service Catalog design, CMDB fundamentals, and SLA configuration.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work with customers and cross-functional teams.

Experience working in Agile environments (grooming, estimation, sprint execution).

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field.

ServiceNow CSA and CIS -ITSM certification required.

CAD certification preferred.

ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.

Mandatory Skills

ServiceNow development experience, with strong ITSM module expertise.

Proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, and REST/SOAP integrations.

Experience with Service Catalog design, CMDB fundamentals, and SLA configuration.
