Role Overview

In this role, you will act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, owning requirement discovery, process mapping, documentation, and delivery alignment for the ServiceNow Hardware Asset Management (HAM) module.

You will work closely with ServiceNow consultants, process owners, and cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes from requirements through go-live.

Key Responsibilities

Asset Management

• Oversee the lifecycle of hardware assets from procurement to disposal
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of hardware assets in ServiceNow HAM
• Develop and implement asset management policies, standards, and procedures

Business Analysis

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business needs
• Analyse current asset management processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Design and document business processes and workflows for HAM

ServiceNow Configuration Support

• Support configuration and customization of the ServiceNow HAM module
• Build and maintain reports, dashboards, and analytics for hardware assets
• Ensure data integrity and compliance within the ServiceNow platform

Project & Stakeholder Management

• Coordinate HAM initiatives from initiation to completion
• Manage dependencies, risks, and delivery timelines
• Communicate progress updates to stakeholders

Training & Support

• Provide training and support to end users on HAM processes and tools
• Develop user guides, training materials, and documentation
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to HAM in ServiceNow

Required Skills & Experience

• 36 years of experience as a Business Analyst on the ServiceNow platform
• Experience with HAM; exposure to SAM, CMDB, Employee Portal, Flow Designer preferred
• Strong understanding of ITAM and ITIL disciplines (Incident, Problem, Change, CMDB)
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, SDLC, and ITIL processes
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong documentation skills (requirements, use cases, acceptance criteria)
• Ability to multitask and work effectively under strict deadlines

Good to Have

• ServiceNow CSA certification
• CIS-HAM certification (preferred)
• Exposure to cloud technologies
• Training experience
• German language (optional)
