What would you do? You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery and operations on daily basis. Attend the governance meetings, prepare governance decks. You will be the front face for the client being a Service Delivery Lead. There will be multiple team leads reporting to you hence you have to be good in people management skills. You will be working as a part of Procurement management team which uses a systematic approach for buying all the goods and services needed for a company to stay sustainable. They are involved in the identification of need, finding and qualifying the suppliers, requesting proposals, negotiating with suppliers, contracting, delivery and analyzing results. The Procurement Support team focuses on identifying the requirements for goods and services from all business units. The team is responsible for identifying and evaluating a list of suppliers, negotiating contracts with the selected supplier, raising a purchase requisition and releasing the purchase order. The team is also responsible for completing the payment process upon receiving an invoice, auditing the delivery of requested goods/services and maintaining proper records of invoices.
What are we looking for? Procurement professional with minimum 10-12 years of experience in sourcing & procurement domain. This candidate should have experience of handling the clients as lead and also should be able to possess great communication skills. Since, this person will be responsible for managing a team of 12-15 FTEs at different levels including team leads hence, should have good team management skills as well. Also, it s important to have good excel and analytical skills for this role. Roles and Responsibilities: In this role you are required to do analysis and solving of moderately complex problems Typically creates new solutions, leveraging and, where needed, adapting existing methods and procedures The person requires understanding of the strategic direction set by senior management as it relates to team goals Primary upward interaction is with direct supervisor or team leads Generally interacts with peers and/or management levels at a client and/or within Accenture The person should require minimal guidance when determining methods and procedures on new assignments Decisions often impact the team in which they reside and occasionally impact other teams Individual would manage medium-small sized teams and/or work efforts (if in an individual contributor role) at a client or within Accenture Please note that this role may require you to work in rotational shifts
