About the Opportunity

We are seeking a senior engineering professional to take ownership of transformer testing, quality assurance, fault diagnostics, and technical validation at our manufacturing facility. This role is central to ensuring long-term reliability, compliance, and engineering excellence.

The position suits someone who values structured engineering, thoughtful decision-making, and technical depth, and prefers solving complex problems over routine firefighting.

Key Responsibilities

Testing & Diagnostics

Lead routine, type, and special testing as per IS 2026 / IS 1180 / IEC 60076

Independently manage testing at CPRI / ERDA / NABL-accredited laboratories

Diagnose failures and determine whether issues are transformer-related or system-induced

Analyse test data and guide corrective actions

Design & Technical Oversight

Review and validate electrical and mechanical designs up to 33 kV / 20 MVA

Assess losses, flux density, insulation systems, cooling, and short-circuit strength

Collaborate with R&D on design and process improvements

Quality & Engineering Leadership

Strengthen quality systems and technical documentation

Mentor engineers and promote disciplined engineering practices

Interface with customers and consultants on technical matters

What We Look For

B.E./B.Tech in Electrical Engineering

1220 years experience in transformer testing, design, or diagnostics

Strong analytical, documentation, and reporting skills

Exposure to R&D or technical improvement initiatives
