Senior Structure Engineer - GDC

Role purpose

Technical leadership, coordination with global teams, mentoring junior engineers, ensuring robust, codecompliant structural solutions, manage technical risk, drive quality, while supporting PM/design management with reliable technical delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and plan delivery for one or more packages: scope breakdown, deliverable strategy, review plan, and risk management.
• Develop and Review/approve modelling assumptions, calculations, reports, and drawing intent before issue.
• Resolve complex technical problems; ensure constructability, coordination, and compliance with applicable codes/standards.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of CAD/BIM deliverables.
• Ensure adherence to internal QA/QC processes and project governance.
• Mentor engineers/juniors: set learning plans, conduct technical reviews, and raise overall team capability.
• Support design managers/PMs with progress reporting, resourcing inputs, and technical stakeholder communication.
• Drive standardization and best practice (templates, checklists, automation opportunities).
• Promote innovation, optimization, and value engineering within the team.

Qualifications & experience

• BE/BTech required; ME/MTech preferred.
• 911+ years structural design experience with demonstrated review/lead responsibility.
• Experience delivering projects for international markets (UK, Middle East, Australia, New Zealand).

Tools

• Deep capability in core analysis tools such as ETABS / SAFE / STAAD (as applicable) + strong review discipline; BIM coordination fluency. Knowledge of RAM Concept will be added advantage.
