We are seeking a Senior UI Engineer to take a leading role in the design and development of our cloud platform's control plane. This is a unique, high-impact role that sits at the intersection of frontend engineering and cloud-native technologies. You will be responsible for creating a sophisticated, intuitive, and powerful user interface that our customers (Developers, SREs, and DevOps Engineers) will use every day to manage, monitor, and interact with their applications and infrastructure on Kubernetes.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain a robust, scalable, and performant UI for our cloud-native control plane using React and TypeScript.

• Collaborate closely with backend and platform engineers to define and consume REST, GraphQL, and gRPC-Web APIs for managing complex infrastructure resources.

• Translate complex user requirements and technical concepts into elegant, simple, and intuitive user experiences and workflows.

• Develop sophisticated data visualizations for real-time metrics, logs, and distributed traces from systems like Prometheus and Jaeger.

• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of UI features, from initial design and prototyping through to implementation, testing, and release.

• Champion UI/UX best practices and contribute to our shared component library and design system.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 10+ years of professional experience in frontend or UI development, building complex, large-scale web applications.

• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Deep experience with a modern UI framework, preferably React.

• Advanced knowledge of state management patterns and libraries (e.g., Redux, Zustand).

• Proven experience consuming complex RESTful APIs or GraphQL.

• A strong conceptual understanding of cloud-native principles, including containers (such as Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes). You should comfortably discuss concepts such as pods, Services, and Deployments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience building UIs for developer tools, infrastructure management platforms, or data-intensive dashboards.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and concepts (Argo CD, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).

• Hands-on experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Loki, Jaeger) and displaying their data.

• Experience with real-time data streaming using WebSockets or consuming gRPC-Web.

• Proficiency with data visualization libraries like D3.js or Recharts.

• Experience contributing to or building a design system or reusable component library.
