Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development.
7 years of experience leading technical project strategy, ML design, and optimizing industry-scale ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, data processing, debugging, fine tuning).
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
2 years of experience with GenAI techniques (e.g., LLMs, Multi-Modal, Large Vision Models) or with GenAI-related concepts (language modeling, computer vision).

Preferred qualifications:

Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional, or cross-business projects.

Responsibilities

Build a Cloud Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) offering in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) using Vertex AI, BigQuery, Looker, Looker Studio and other GCP technologies. Work in a changing environment and contribute to the improvement of performance and scalability.
Collaborate with a team of data scientists and statisticians to design and implement innovative solutions for MMM challenges.
Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, drive the technical goal and strategy. Ensure features adhere to best practices and coding standards.
Implement and maintain robust testing and quality assurance processes. Provide team management, technical mentorship, and guidance to team members, fostering their growth and development.
Collaborate with key stakeholders and cross-functional teams to define goals and roadmap. Partner with technical leads across the organization, prioritizing code cleanup and promoting testing and quality best practices.
