Responsibilities

The Senior Solution Architect plays a critical role within the APAC Enterprise Architecture team, with accountability for defining and executing the regional Enterprise Architecture (EA) strategy in alignment with the global EA vision.

Key responsibilities include:

• Representing the APAC region within the global Enterprise Architecture Community and, as a member of the global Core EA Team, contributing to global EA standards, principles, and governance models that enable standardized solution architecture across DHL Supply Chain.
• Acting as a key design authority within APAC, influencing regional-level decisions to optimize scalable, reusable, and easily integrated supply chain solutions across DSC countries.
• Addressing business, information, and technology initiatives by defining approaches for integrating applications, systems, and programs.
• Developing, coordinating, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing Business Architecture principles, models, and standard components used across information system-related activities.
• Defining regional EA principles and standards to guide solution and IT architecture decisions.
• Managing the regional IT technology lifecycle in alignment with Enterprise Architects and translating this into a clear regional transformation roadmap.
• Contributing to the creation of blueprints, templates, and architectural patterns that support solution standardization across DHL Supply Chain.
• Providing architectural guidance for decision-making, including evaluation of the existing IT landscape and selection of new products and technologies.
• Creating and maintaining a holistic big picture view across business, information, application, technology, infrastructure, and security architecture layers, ensuring alignment with key stakeholders.
• Aligning domain IT architecture across functions and consulting with domain and regional leaders to ensure strategic coherence.

Requirements

• 1015 years of IT experience in progressively responsible roles.
• At least 10 years of experience in application design, solution development, and application lifecycle management.
• 10 years of experience in diverse business and IT roles with increasing leadership responsibilities.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing supply chain IT solutions.
• At least 5 years of experience working across global or regional teams to collaborate on IT vision and strategy.
• Extensive experience in Enterprise Architecture management, including tools such as LeanIX and frameworks such as TOGAF.
• Proven expertise in creating, managing, and applying architecture concepts, artifacts, methods, and governance from business to IT levels.
• Strong capability to build partnerships and consult effectively with senior leadership and stakeholders.
• Advanced project planning skills, with experience managing complex technical initiatives using both agile and waterfall methodologies.
