Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Test Automation Engineer to lead our test automation efforts. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium, proficiency in at least one scripting language (such as Python, JavaScript, or Shell), and a solid understanding of Java for integrating with backend systems and frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

•    Design, develop, and maintain robust and scalable test automation frameworks.
•    Create and execute automated test scripts using Selenium and other tools.
•    Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, and product managers to ensure high-quality releases.
•    Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
•    Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with development teams to resolve issues.
•    Mentor junior QA engineers and promote best practices in test automation.
•    Continuously evaluate and improve automation strategies and tools.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

•    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
•    5+ years of experience in test automation.
•    Strong hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver.
•    Proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript, Shell).
•    Solid understanding of Java and object-oriented programming.
•    Experience with test frameworks like TestNG, JUnit, or similar.
•    Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI).
•    Good understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.

Preferred Skills:

•    Experience with BDD tools like Cucumber or Behave.
•    Knowledge of performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
•    Exposure to cloud-based testing platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs).
•    Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
•    Experience testing RESTful APIs using tools like Postman or REST Assured.
