Position description:

Vulnerability Assessment and Penetration Tester

Primary Responsibilities: 

• Conduct Vulnerability Assessments, Penetration Testing, Application Security Assessments.
• Conduct and compile findings on new vulnerabilities, new tools for departmental use 
• Create project deliverables / reports and assist the immediate supervisor during submissions and vendor discussions. 
• Manage escalations, strong reporting skills.
• Abide by the project timelines and maintain project discipline. 

Desired Skills 

• Hands-on Experience is performing Network Security Assessment and vulnerability Assessment. (Web / Android /iOS)
• Good understanding of OWASP top 10 and web Application security audits. 
• API security assessment (REST / SOAP)
• Manual Penetration Testing skills and techniques are required besides automated tools and frameworks.
• Mobile application security assessment. (iOS / Android)
• Good understanding Mobile application OWASP Top 10.
• Familiar working with Publicly available exploits codes.
• Understanding of hardening concepts / CIS Benchmarks 
• Understanding of Indian Banking & Regulatory landscape 
• Understanding of WAF concepts / DDos (Akamai) (attack and defense)
• Hands on knowledge on Tools: Nmap, Kali Linux, Metasploit, Burp, Paros Proxy Nessus, Wireshark, sqlmap etc.  
• Understanding of layered security / defence in depth
• Understanding of fintech landscape / Payments / Super app 
• Excellent people and stakeholder management skills 
• MS – Office (word, xl, Powerpoint)
