Senior QA Engineer – Automation

We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer Automation with strong hands-on expertise in building and maintaining robust automation frameworks. The ideal candidate should have experience in Financial Services or Capital Markets environments and possess strong skills in Python-based automation.

This role requires ownership, technical depth, and exposure to end-to-end automation framework development.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using Python, Selenium, and Robot Framework
• Develop automated test scripts for web applications and APIs
• Perform data validation and backend testing using SQL
• Validate large datasets and ensure data integrity across systems
• Participate in requirement analysis and test planning
• Work closely with Developers, BA, and DevOps teams
• Drive automation best practices and improve test coverage
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for automated tests
• Support regression, integration, and system testing

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience in Python
• Automation using Selenium WebDriver
• Experience with Robot Framework
• Strong knowledge of SQL for backend/data validation
• Experience in building or enhancing end-to-end automation frameworks
• Good understanding of:
• Testing methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
• API testing
• Test case design techniques
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred)
• Version control (Git)

Domain Experience (Preferred)

• Financial Services / Capital Markets
• Exposure to trading platforms, market data systems, risk systems, or banking applications
• Understanding of financial instruments (Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives) is a plus
