Job Title : Senior Proposals Engineer

Location : Pune

Experience Required : 6 Years

Salary : 6 - 12 LPA

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Understanding enquiry and customers requirement in details, seeking clarifications & necessary inputs as required.
• Developing optimum solution proposal & submission in committed time developing scheme, flow diagram for proposed water treatment plant. (WTP, DM,RO,UF,ZLD,ETP,STP)
• Floating RFQs specifications and collecting backup quotations for required material/equipment from approved vendors, evaluation of fair pricing, negotiating with vendors and preparing the best possible cost estimate.
• Satisfying customer concerns & building confidence technical discussions with the customer and/or consultant, sorting out all queries related to flow diagram, selection of equipment and layout point of view, product & system solution positioning, achieving agreement with the customer and/or consultant on all technical aspects of our Proposal, and establishing key differentiations.
• Ownership of Order Booking target, Right Proposal development & accurate cost estimation
• To develop a reference database for sizing, weight estimation & cost estimation
• Continual improvement and optimization by collecting feedback from executed projects, inputs from industry/market, etc.
• Support to detail-engineering team at post-order stage in preparing the required drawings and documentations
• Good knowledge of Water & Waste Water Treatment (ETP/RO/UF/DM/ZLD) terms-definitions & design calculations
• Conversant with plant operation & equipment like, Aeration, Clarifiers, Filters, UF, RO, MBR, Pumps, Blowers, instrumentation, automation etc.
• Proper understanding and preparation of water balance of the plant
• Knowledge of instrumentation requirement to operate the plant and to meet process guarantees
• Expert in UF & RO projections
• Confident enough to work out techno-commercial proposal independently including P&ID, Process Calculations, Plant Layout, BOM, Specifications, Detailed Costing
• Bachelors Degree Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
• Minimum 6-10 years of experience in Proposals (Water and Wastewater Industry) is required
