Senior Production System Engineer

Seeking a system engineer who is passionate about working in a fully cloud-enabled environment and supporting critical business operations. This role offers the opportunity to combine deep technical expertise with administration and analysis of cloud infrastructure to manage a wide range of complex production environments. Job Description:

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for a variety of cloud-native applications
• Manage and operate Kubernetes clusters (on-premise or managed services like EKS, AKS, GKE)
• Work closely with development teams to containerize applications using Docker and deploy them seamlessly
• Develop and manage infrastructure using Terraform or Chef
• Automate infrastructure provisioning, monitoring, and deployments
• Implement and maintain system observability (monitoring, logging, alerting) for production systems
• Support development teams by improving deployment strategies, infrastructure resilience, and scalability
• Ensure system security, compliance, and best practices in cloud environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in dev, test, and production environments
• Provide Tier III and other support per service request

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, service discovery, Helm, etc.)
• Experience with cloud-native services (OCI/AWS/GCP/Azure at least one required)
• Proficient in containerization using Docker
• Experience in infrastructure-as-code using Terraform or Chef
• Understanding of Linux-based operating systems and shell scripting
• Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, or similar
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (OCI APM, Prometheus, New Relic, Grafana, ELK stack, etc.)
• Knowledge of system/network security and troubleshooting
