Senior Product Owner

We are seeking a seasoned Senior Product Owner with a strong technical background to spearhead the development and delivery of innovative products within our dynamic SAFe Agile environment. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical acumen, strategic thinking, and effective communication skills. This role will require you to collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, and stakeholders, to ensure the successful execution of product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, aligning it with the overall business objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and prioritize requirements, ensuring that they meet the needs of the target market.
• Ability to manage multiple large scale products
• Develop detailed product specifications, including user stories, acceptance criteria, and wireframes.
• Lead cross-functional teams in an Agile environment, utilizing SAFe methodologies to deliver high-quality products on time and within budget.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among team members including technical architects, security teams, cloud platform teams, etc  fostering a positive and productive work environment.
• Track and analyze product performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimize product success.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and emerging technologies to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
• Integrate products with upstream applications, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.
• Leverage cloud technologies and microservices architecture to build scalable and resilient product solutions.
• Experience in the Travel domain is a plus but not mandatory.

Requirements:

• Prior development experience is mandatory and knowledge of any coding languages like java/python is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Senior Product Owner/Product Manager in a SAFe Agile environment handling large scale products.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/Google Cloud) and understanding of saas, paas applications.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Has completed certification like  SAFe POPM , CSPO.
• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and ability to collaborate with development teams on scalable, distributed systems.
• Strong technical understanding, including knowledge of database querying and integration with upstream & downstream applications.
• Proficiency in using tools like Visio for creating diagrams and visualizations.
• Experience with at least one product management tools like Jira, Miro, etc
• Experience with wireframe design tools like Figma, Balsamiq, etc
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• A passion for creating innovative products that delight customers.

Additional Skills (Preferred):

• Knowledge of ServiceNow platform and its applications
• Experience with logging and monitoring tools like Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, etc
• Knowledge of compliance like GDPR and  PCI-DSS
• Experience working with cloud-native applications.
• Experience of working in documentation tool like Confluence, SharePoint, etc
