Job Summary:

ACL Digital is looking for an experienced Senior Physical Design Engineer with 57 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end physical design implementation. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in backend VLSI design flow, timing closure, and sign-off activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute complete physical design flow from Netlist to GDSII.
• Floorplanning, placement, CTS, routing, and physical verification.
• Perform timing closure and optimization (setup/hold, leakage, power).
• Handle STA, signal integrity, IR drop, and EM analysis.
• Work on DRC/LVS closure and sign-off.
• Collaborate with frontend, DFT, and verification teams.
• Support tape-out activities and resolve backend issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Physical Design (57 years).
• Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools:
• Cadence (Innovus)
• Synopsys (ICC2, PrimeTime)
• Expertise in:
• Floorplanning & PnR
• CTS & Timing Closure
• STA & Sign-off checks
• Low-power design techniques
• Experience with advanced technology nodes (16nm/7nm preferred).
• Good understanding of SDC constraints and MMMC flows.
• Scripting knowledge in Tcl/Shell is an added advantage.

Preferred Qualifications:

• B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics / VLSI / Electrical Engineering.
• Strong debugging and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
