Key Responsibilities:


Payroll Processing

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for full-time and contract employees.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with company policies.
  • Handle Full & Final (F&F) settlements for exiting employees.
  • Process and validate employee expense reimbursements.
  • Maintain payroll records, reports, and documentation.


Statutory & Labour Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory regulations and labour laws.
  • Manage statutory deductions and filings, including:
  • Provident Fund (PF)
  • Professional Tax (PT)
  • Tax Deducted at Source (TDS)
  • National Pension System (NPS)
  • Prepare and file monthly and annual statutory returns.
  • Generate and issue Form 16 to employees.
  • Coordinate with auditors and external consultants when required.


Payroll Systems & Reporting

  • Work on payroll software (preferably Darwinbox) for payroll operations.
  • Generate MIS and payroll reports for management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.


Stakeholder Management

  • Address employee queries related to payroll, taxes, and reimbursements.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and Compliance teams.


Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of Indian payroll and statutory compliances.
  • Hands-on experience in Darwinbox payroll software (preferred).
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and confidentiality.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to handle deadlines and multiple payroll cycles.


Preferred Candidate Profile:

  • MBA in Finance or related field.
  • 58 years of relevant payroll experience.
  • Experience handling large employee payroll is an advantage.
