Senior Observability Engineer

We are seeking an Observability Engineer to join our team having 8+ years of experience and be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our company's observability practices and tools.

The Observability Architect will work closely with the Lead Engineers, Managers and Architects of other departments to gather requirements and provide solutions for ensuring our systems' reliability, availability, and performance.

They will also implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies and be responsible for monitoring and optimizing system performance.

This role will require hands on experience and skills.

Required Skills:

Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Elasticsearch Experience with APM tools like Dynatrace, New Relic, Data Dog, Splunk

Experience with Cloud monitoring service like AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP StackDriver

Strong understanding of distributed systems and containerization technologies such as Kubernetes, and Cloud GCP/AWS

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Be able to mentor and build a team of engineers who will be specialized in observability engineering
