Deloittes Technology & Transformation practice can help you uncover and unlock the value buried deep inside vast amounts of data. Our global network provides strategic guidance and implementation services to help companies manage data from disparate sources and convert it into accurate, actionable information that can support fact-driven decision-making and generate an insight-driven advantage. Our practice addresses the continuum of opportunities in business intelligence & visualization, data management, performance management and next-generation analytics and technologies, including big data, cloud, cognitive and machine learning.

Senior Node.js / IoT / EventDriven Engineer| Hyderabad | 8+ years

Qualifications & Experience

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Node.js, backend engineering, and API development with strong command of TypeScript.
• Proven experience designing and building IoT solutions, covering device connectivity, messaging protocols, telemetry ingestion, and cloud integration.
• Deep expertise with AWS services, especially AWS IoT Core, Lambda, API Gateway, Kinesis, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and EventBridge.
• Practical experience building serverless and eventdriven applications at scale.
• Strong understanding of event streaming platforms such as Kafka, including consumer groups, partitions, and streaming patterns.
• Hands-on experience with MongoDB, including schema design, aggregation pipelines, indexing strategies, and handling time-series/IoT data.
• Strong understanding of integration patterns, API governance, microservices, and distributed system concepts.
• Experience with API management tools (preferably Kong) including rate limiting, authN/authZ, and plugin configuration.
• Strong grounding in DevOps principles including CI/CD, Kubernetes, containerization, IaC (Terraform), and cloud automation.
• Experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC best practices, and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent problemsolving, debugging, incident management, and communication skills.
