Job Summary

We are looking for a Network Automation Engineer with strong networking fundamentals and hands-on Python-based automation experience. The role focuses on automating network operations, configuration, and troubleshooting across enterprise and data-center networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions
• Automate network configuration, provisioning, and validation tasks
• Troubleshoot complex network issues across routing, switching, and security layers
• Work closely with network operations and security teams to improve reliability and efficiency
• Develop reusable scripts and tools for network monitoring and compliance
• Support production networks and participate in incident resolution

Networking Skills (Mandatory)

• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and OSI model
• Routing & Switching:
• BGP, OSPF, EIGRP
• VLANs, STP, VRRP / HSRP
• Network Services:
• DNS, DHCP, NTP
• Hands-on experience with network devices:
• Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Palo Alto (or similar vendors)
• Network Security fundamentals:
• Firewalls, ACLs, VPNs, NAT

Programming & Automation Skills (Must-Have)

• Python (mandatory):
• Strong knowledge of data structures and modules
• Experience with virtual environments
• Working knowledge of:
• REST APIs
• JSON, YAML, XML
• Basic scripting knowledge:
• Bash / Shell (good to have)

Required Experience

• 48 years of experience in Networking / Network Automation
• Hands-on experience automating network devices and services
• Experience in enterprise or data-center network environments

Good to Have

• Experience with Ansible, Netmiko, NAPALM, or similar tools
• Exposure to CI/CD for network automation
• Knowledge of cloud networking (AWS / Azure)
• Understanding of monitoring and logging tools
