Senior Network Consultant

Responsibilities:

• Network Design & Implementation

  • Design and deploy scalable and secure network architectures for e-commerce operations.
  • Implement and configure network hardware/software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and SD-WAN.
  • Ensure optimal network performance and security for physical and virtual locations.

• Network Administration & Security

  • Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall, SD-WAN (Velo), GCP, Cisco Catalyst Switches, WiFi, and Data Center L2/L3 networking.
  • Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and optimize configurations.
  • Implement network security policies, access controls, and compliance measures.

• Monitoring & Documentation

  • Utilize network monitoring tools to proactively identify and resolve performance issues.
  • Maintain accurate network diagrams, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align network strategies with business objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field (Certifications like CCNA/CCNP are a plus).
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer, preferably in a retail or e-commerce environment.
• Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto Firewall, SD-WAN (Velo), GCP, Cisco Catalyst Switches, WiFi, and Data Center L2/L3.
• Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.
