Senior Network Architect

WiFi & SD-WAN Network Deployment Architect is responsible for designing, planning, and Leading the implementation of enterprise-grade WiFi and SD-WAN infrastructure. The role ensures high performance, scalability, security, and seamless user experience across wired and wireless networks.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Network Architecture & Design

• Design end-to-end wireless LAN (WLAN) and SD-WAN architectures for multi-site or large-scale environments.
• Develop high-availability, secure, and scalable network topologies supporting mobility, IoT, and cloud applications.
• Integrate WiFi and SD-WAN solutions with existing data center, and cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

2. Deployment & Implementation

• Lead or supervise deployment teams in the rollout of WiFi, SD-WAN solutions.
• Lead site surveys, RF planning, capacity analysis, and spectrum management for optimal wireless coverage and performance.
• Ensure integration with firewalls, NAC, and identity management systems such as Cisco ISE, Aruba ClearPass,
• Plan and coordinate cutovers, migrations, and staged rollouts with minimal downtime.

3. Technology & Tools

• Work experience with:
• WiFi: Cisco, Juniper Mist, Extreme Networks, Meraki is desirable.
• SD-WAN: Cisco Viptela/Meraki or Fortinet or Silver Peak is mandatory.
• Monitoring: Ekahau or ThousandEyes or NetBox is mandatory
• Develop automation and orchestration workflows using Ansible or APIs fornetwork provisioning mandatory.
• Deep expertise on zero-touch provisioning and SASE integration.

4. Performance, Optimization & Troubleshooting

• Conduct post-deployment validation , performance tuning, and optimization.
• Establish network KPIs and SLA monitoring for WiFi and SD-WAN.

5. Collaboration & Leadership

• Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and security teams to ensure cohesive network strategy.
• Provide technical mentorship to network engineers and field deployment teams.
• Engage with vendors and service providers for design validation and support escalations.

Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering.

Experience:

• 12 - 15 years of progressive experience in enterprise networking.
• 5+ years designing and deploying WiFi and SD-WAN solutions.
• Experience with distributed enterprise networks (e.g., universities, hospitals, or large enterprises).

Certifications (Preferred):

• Aruba Certified Design Expert (ACDX) or Professional (ACDP)
• Fortinet NSE 57 , VMware SD-WAN Specialist , or Silver Peak ASE
