Are you a senior Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering authority ready to shape the structural integrity and regulatory compliance of complex FPSO assets?


To support our offshore portfolio, we are seeking an experienced Senior Naval Architect / Marine Engineering Authority to provide technical leadership across hull structures, stability systems, mooring systems, and marine systems for multiple FPSOs.


In this role, you will act as the senior technical authority, ensuring compliance with DNV, ABS, IMO, API, and company standards while driving structural integrity, design compliance, regulatory adherence, and continuous improvement across the asset lifecycle.

As we continue to strengthen our engineering capabilities and support complex FPSO operations, we are looking for a seasoned Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering leader who can set standards, provide technical authority, and drive excellence across our asset portfolio.


What You Will Do

  • Act as Senior Technical Authority for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering across FPSO assets
  • Establish and maintain engineering standards, best practices, and technical governance frameworks
  • Ensure hull structures, stability, mooring, and marine systems comply with DNV, ABS, IMO, API, and international codes
  • Review and approve naval architecture designs, structural modifications, and design change requests
  • Provide technical input to Asset Integrity Programs and Management of Change (MOC) processes
  • Lead oversight of structural integrity, stability margins, and mooring system performance
  • Coordinate and support Class surveys, marine inspections, and regulatory audits
  • Review survey reports, inspection findings, and maintenance records to identify risks and trends
  • Lead or oversee root cause analysis for structural or design-related incidents
  • Represent the company in Classification Society meetings, audits, and regulatory engagements
  • Support brownfield projects, including design development, analysis, FAT/SAT, and commissioning
  • Mentor teams, promote HSE excellence, and drive knowledge development and nationalization initiatives


What We Are Looking For

  • Bachelors degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, or a related discipline
  • 1215 years of experience in oil & gas, EPC, or FPSO environments
  • Minimum 10 years of offshore O&M asset experience (FPSO/FPU strongly preferred)
  • Expert knowledge of FPSO hull design, marine systems, stability, and mooring
  • Advanced expertise in structural analysis, FEA, hydrostatics, and hydrodynamics
  • Strong working knowledge of DNV, ABS, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, API, ISO standards
  • Proficiency in naval architecture and structural software (e.g., Maxsurf, GeniE, MOSES, AQWA, ANSYS, ABAQUS)
  • Experience acting as technical authority across multiple assets and complex scopes
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder management, and technical communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in multicultural, multidisciplinary offshore teams
  • Comfortable operating in high-pressure, compliance-driven environments
