Job Title: Senior / Lead Engineer - QA

Reporting Structure: Reports to QA Manager

Education: Bachelor’s degree in any engineering discipline/ BCA/ MCA

Experience/ Qualifications:

• 3-8 years of experience preferred in BFSI domain
• Good Manual / Functional testing knowledge with strong problem-solving skills
• Should have an eye for details and able to test applications meticulously. Identify, report and track defects found during testing
• Should have a  good knowledge of Selenium, Java  and testing frameworks like TestNG, BDD Cucumber. 
• Should have good knowledge of PL/SQL
• Experience in API testing is must. Ability to validate request/response flows using Postman. Design, execute and optimize API test cases. 
• Working knowledge of API automation using REST Assured or similar framework. 
• Good to have - Experience in CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins
• Knowledge of python is added advantage
• Should have good communication skills and should a good team player

Responsibilities:

Primary Responsibility

• Test planning and Test Execution  - Develop and maintain test plan, test cases and test scripts. Oversee Test Execution, monitor progress and report on test results
• Defect Management - Manage defect reporting, tracking and resolution
• Test Environment management - Ensure test environments are setup and configured correctly
• Test Automation - Develop and maintain automation test framework and test scripts
• Test data Management - Ensure test data is available and accurate 
• Continuous learning and co-ordination with BAs and SME for relevant domain / functional knowledge 

Technical Responsibility

• Test Tool Evaluation - Evaluate and recommend testing tool and technologies
• Test Framework Development - Develop and maintain testing framework
• Test Script Development - Develop and maintain testing scripts
• Test data analysis - Analyze test data to identify trends and pattern

Certifications: Relevant Technology and Banking Domain Certifications like NCFM, ISTQB or similar certifications are a plus

Employment Type: All positions are on fixed term contract on a full-time basis exclusively for ReBIT, initially for a period of five years, extendable by mutual consent
