Job Description

Position Summary

Key Responsibilities

Provide Jira/Confluence administration, including user access, apps, integrations, and backups.
Troubleshoot and resolve user-reported issues.
Build and maintain custom workflows, fields, screens, boards, reports, automations, and integrations.
Evaluate, manage, and maintain apps/plugins (e.g., Xray, ScriptRunner, eazyBI).
Implement system enhancements to improve performance and reliability.
Audit usage and establish best practices for teams.
Create documentation, training guides, and recommendations for process improvement.
Partner with project management and business teams to align Jira implementations with company
standards.
Maintain communication and support with Atlassian representatives on new products.

Required Experience

5+ years as a Jira Administrator.
Strong knowledge of Jira customization (fields, workflows, permissions, reporting).
Proficiency with JQL and Agile methodologies.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and independent working skills.

Preferred Experience

Jira Administrator for Cloud certification.
Managing Jira Projects for Cloud certification.
Hands-on experience in Jira Cloud.
Process improvement or project management background.

Education

Bachelor’s degree, or 5+ years of relevant experience.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Experience collaborating with software development teams.
Lean process improvement mindset.
Ability to translate business needs into Jira/Confluence solutions.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
