A Day in the Life

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Coordinate with various stakeholders to collect documentation related to the application and infrastructure overview, data architecture, integrations, functionality, support processes, and information repositories.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to content creators to improve the quality and clarity of the documentation.
• Ensure that backup, disaster recovery (DR), and scaling strategies are thoroughly documented and up-to-date.
• Oversee the organization and management of the documentation repository, ensuring easy access to knowledgebase articles, password management, access management, and audit/governance documentation.

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Library Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in system architecture, documentation management, technical writing, or a similar role.
• Experience with documentation management tools and systems.
• Knowledge of metadata frameworks and content management practices
• Strong understanding of application and data architecture concepts.
• Excellent organizational, communication and project management skills.
• Experience and knowledge of Manufacturing shopfloor applications – OEE, MES, SPC, CMMS etc. a plus.
