What Youll Work On

Product Interfaces

• Design clean, modern, high-quality interfaces for web and other digital surfaces.
• Collaborate with product designers to bring flows and features to life with strong visual and interaction craft.

Micro Interactions & Motion

• Create micro interactions, transitions, and motion that communicate feedback, state, and intent in a smooth, thoughtful way.
• Build motion prototypes (video or interactive) to show timing, easing, and overall feel.

Visual & Communication Design

• Design visuals for product screens, landing pages, demos, internal tools, and narratives.
• Help maintain and evolve a consistent visual language across different touchpoints.

AI-Powered Exploration

• Use AI creative tools to explore directions, generate variations, and iterate rapidly on concepts.
• Blend AI outputs with your own craft so the final work feels intentional, not templated.

Collaboration & Design Culture

• Work closely with product designers, PMs, engineers, and marketing partners.
• Participate in critiques, share in-progress work, and foster a culture of open, constructive feedback.
• Contribute to shared libraries, patterns, and references that raise the bar for the team.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Turn ideas, requirements, and flows into high-fidelity visuals, interaction specs, and motion studies.
• Design states, edge cases, transitions, and micro interactionsnot just static happy-path screens.
• Create clear specifications for animation, interaction, and layout to support reliable engineering implementation.
• Contribute components, motion patterns, and examples to our design system/libraries.
• Review builds to ensure shipped experiences match the intended look, feel, and behavior.

What Youll Bring

Experience

• 56 years in UI, visual, interaction, or motion design for digital products, interfaces, or apps.
• A portfolio demonstrating:
• Strong visual and interface design
• Interaction thinking (flows, states, structure)
• Motion and micro interaction work in real products or high-fidelity concepts

Core Skills

Visual Design

• Strong eye for layout, typography, color, and hierarchy.
• Comfortable from early exploration through pixel-perfect execution.
• Ability to make complex interfaces feel clear, approachable, and visually coherent.

Interaction Design & Micro Interactions

• Experience designing flows, navigation, and interactive states across a product.
• Ability to define micro interactions that improve clarity and delight (hover, press, loading, success/failure, system feedback).

Motion Design

• Ability to define motion principlesspeed, easing, choreographythat support understanding and feel on-brand.
• Experience creating motion prototypes and demos for features, transitions, and micro interactions.

AI Fluency

• Hands-on experience with AI creative tools (imagery, concepts, layouts, or motion ideas).
• Curiosity for new tools and workflows, with the ability to integrate them without losing taste or control.

Collaboration & Communication

• Comfortable working closely with product, engineering, and marketing.
• Able to explain work clearly and exchange feedback constructively.
• Able to move fast without compromising quality.

Tools

Core Product & UI Design

• Figma (primary tool for UI, components, and interaction flows)

Motion & Prototyping

• Adobe After Effects
• One or more of: Principle, ProtoPie, Lottie, Origami, Framer, or similar tools

Graphic & Visual Design

• Adobe Illustrator (icons, vectors, illustration)
• Adobe Photoshop (image editing, compositing)

AI & Creative Tooling

• Experience with AI image/video/layout tools (for concepting, variations, refinement)
• Comfort experimenting with new AI tools and integrating them into your workflow

Bonus: Familiarity with Blender/3D or generative design tools (not required)
