About the Role

Were looking for a young and dynamic Finance Manager who wants to be the early backbone of finance at an upcoming, fast-growing brand . This is a high-ownership role for someone who thrives in a start-up environment, understands the pace of a D2C business, and can bring both structure and agility to the function.

Youll be responsible for setting up robust financial systems, ensuring compliance, managing reporting, and driving fiscal discipline across teams while enabling the brand to scale responsibly.

What Youll Do

• Lead end-to-end finance operations, including accounting, reconciliation, vendor management, and payroll.
• Oversee monthly closing, budgeting, and financial reporting in coordination with leadership.
• Implement strong internal controls and financial processes across departments.
• Ensure accurate and timely reconciliations across bank, payment gateways, and vendor accounts.
• Supervise invoicing, expense tracking, reimbursements, and vendor settlements .
• Manage cash flow planning , fund utilisation, and forecasting for growth.
• Liaise with external partners, CAs, auditors, consultants, and banks, for compliance and statutory requirements (GST, TDS, filings, etc.).
• Present clear financial insights and recommendations to leadership for strategic decisions.

What Were Looking For

• 57 years of experience in finance, accounting, or controllership, ideally within a D2C or retail brand .
• Prior experience in a D2C brand is mandatory.
• Strong command over Tally ERP, Excel , and modern accounting systems.
• Hands-on experience with reconciliations, MIS reporting, budgeting, and payroll .
• Deep understanding of cash flow management, compliance, and audit readiness .
• Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action.
• A proactive self-starter who enjoys building systems from the ground up.
• Someone with high ownership, integrity, and a long-term mindset.
