Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management

Source and qualify new suppliers for paper cups (various sizes, materials, and customizations), Lids, Sleeves, Cartons and a diverse range of packaging materials (e.g., corrugated boxes, films, labels, bags).

Conduct market analysis and benchmarking to identify cost-saving opportunities and maintain competitive pricing.

Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with vendors to secure the best value and favorable terms.

Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key suppliers.

Manage supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and ensure adherence to quality standards and delivery schedules.

Operational Procurement

Manage the full Procure-to-Pay (P2P) cycle, including requisition processing, issuing Purchase Orders (POs), and expediting deliveries.

Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs and minimize excess inventory, collaborating closely with planning and operations teams.

Resolve issues related to supplier non-conformance, delivery delays, and invoice discrepancies.

Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies and ethical standards.

Cost Control and Reporting

Track, analyze, and report on key procurement metrics such as savings achieved, supplier performance, and purchase price variance (PPV).

Identify and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or supply reliability.

Qualifications and Requirements

Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience in procurement or purchasing, with a strong preference for experience in Paper, Print, Packaging, or FMCG industries.

Category Expertise: Proven experience procuring Paper Cups and/or various Packaging Materials is highly desirable.

Skills:

Strong negotiation and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or procurement software.

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications for packaging and print materials.

High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
