About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Pricing Professional to join our Freight Forwarding team.

The role involves managing rate procurement, preparing competitive quotations , and supporting business growth through strategic pricing and cost analysis.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in air and sea freight pricing and coordination with carriers and overseas partners.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage air and ocean freight quotations for customers and the sales team.
• Negotiate rates with shipping lines, airlines, co-loaders, and overseas agents to ensure competitiveness.
• Coordinate with sales, operations, and overseas offices to provide cost-effective routing solutions.
• Analyze market trends and competitor pricing to maintain profitability and competitiveness.
• Maintain updated rate sheets, contracts, and tariff databases.
• Respond promptly to customer and internal rate requests, ensuring accuracy and speed.
• Monitor conversion ratios and provide feedback on rate performance.
• Support the development of pricing strategies and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and global trade guidelines.

Desired Candidate Profile:

• 37 years of experience in freight forwarding pricing / procurement / key account costing.
• Strong understanding of air & sea freight operations, INCOTERMS, and trade lanes.
• Excellent negotiation and analytical skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and ERP-based quotation tools.
• Strong communication, coordination, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

Educational Qualification:

• Graduate / MBA / PG Diploma in Logistics, Shipping, or International Business.
