JOB DESCRIPTION:

Basic qualifications:

Post-graduate/master’s in pharmacy (Medicinal/Pharmaceutical chemistry)
Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in an Intellectual Property-patent function.

Preferred qualifications:

Excellent technical knowledge/understanding of Medicinal and Organic Chemistry
Excellent understanding and experience in performing substance & reaction searches on STN/SciFinder databases.
Excellent understanding and experience in evaluating ROS for APIs
Excellent understanding and experience of XRPD, DSC, TGA interpretation
Experience in working for developed (US/Europe) as well as emerging markets for API IP assessment in a pharma/API company.
