We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager Engineering to strengthen, streamline, and elevate our engineering operations. This role will lead multidisciplinary engineering teamsMechanical, Electrical, and Process Engineeringwith a strong foundation in mechanical design. The ideal candidate will drive standardisation, enforce engineering discipline, improve cross-functional workflows, and build scalable engineering systems that support companies product, project, and manufacturing goals.
Requirements
Own and elevate companies mechanical design and engineering outputensuring all deliverables are on time, cost-aligned, production-ready, and compliant.
Collaborate closely with Project Management, Procurement, Production, and Quality teams to ensure seamless execution.
Translate process designs into structured engineering outputs including layouts, mechanical drawings, BOMs, and compliance documentation.
Establish and enforce design standards, release workflows, and BOM coordination systems.
Oversee simulation, virtual validation, and engineering analysis (e.g., FEA, DFM reviews).
Lead technical troubleshooting and support root cause analysis for manufacturing or site-related challenges.
Mentor team members, conduct performance evaluations, and implement structured training and upskilling programs.
Support commercial teams with technical inputs for proposals, compliance documentation, and client submissions.
Contribute to R&D and New Product Development (NPD) initiatives aligned with CRAs innovation goals.
Apply DFMA principles to optimise designs for fabrication, assembly, cost efficiency, and manufacturability.
Work closely with Production, Operations, and Fabrication teams to ensure practical and scalable engineering solutions.
Conduct pre-production design reviews and joint engineeringproduction validations to minimise rework and ensure smooth execution.
Align engineering deliverables with business objectives, project timelines, and manufacturing capabilities.
Build a structured, high-performance team with defined roles, accountability, and growth pathways.
Drive standardisation across engineering processes, templates, workflows, and documentation.

Deep understanding of fabrication, standards, and plant/mechanical systems.
Experience with design tools: AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SolidWorks/Inventor, and FEA platforms
Strong coordination ability across functions (project, production, procurement, quality, clients)
Exposure to simulation/virtual validation and standards like ASME, ISO, EN 13480, etc.
