Position:

Job Description:

As an emulation support engineer, candidate will be involved in developing, implementing, and deploying simulation acceleration and emulation using Cadence Palladium Z1 and/or Synopsys ZeBu-S4.

•         Develop methodology/tool flow for running system tests/SW applications/boot OS on emulator.

•         Use emulator effectively to test various areas of the chip using simulation acceleration and power aware emulation.

•         Help reproduce post-silicon failures on emulator and help with reproduction of failures in emulator on simulation.

•         Closely work with RTL/verification/design/SW engineers for debug and root-cause.

•         Develop and debug related RTL models, assertions, collateral.

•         Technically guiding team with emulation flow

Technical Skill:

•         Minimum BE (EC) required with over 7 years relevant experience

•         5+ years of recent experience with hardware emulation on Cadence Palladium Z1 and/or Synopsys ZeBu-S4 and/or Mentor Veloce, mainly in database builds and compile/runtime infrastructure development

•         Experience in Verilog/SV and C/System C programming

•         Strong scripting skills (Python, Ruby, TCL, Shell etc.)

•         Excellent hands-on experience with SoC verification including waveform debugging using Verdi

•         Knowledge on transactor modelling, assertions will be a plus.

•         Excellent communication skills and demonstrate the desire to take on diverse challenges.
