What youll be doing...

The SDN (Software Defined Networking) Planning group is looking for a driven and knowledgeable Senior Full Stack Engineer with strong technical acumen along with a proven track record and expertise in agile software development and delivery. This is a pivotal role responsible for the development and maintenance of platforms related to telecom, SDN/NFV. This includes the design, development, and implementation of software and services. Furthermore, you will:

• Lead small-to-medium scale agile projects with minimal supervision

• Interface with product teams and stakeholders to develop and implement incremental software changes

• Implement enhancements, bug fixes to existing applications and services, and software upgrades

• Mitigate and address security vulnerabilities within the stipulated timeframe

• Test solutions for resiliency, scalability, and reliability

• Observe and maintain platforms using tools such as NewRelic

• Be flexible in troubleshooting and resolving application issues and escalations

• Coordinate with geographically dispersed teams to achieve desired outcomes in platform development and support

You'll need to have:

• Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.

• Seven or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.

• Seven or more years of experience on Frontend/Web technologies and backend services.

• Knowledge of SDLC and Agile Development.

• Knowledge of cloud-native application development.

• Effective code review, quality, performance tuning experience.

• Strong and proven experience on front end technologies like react,javascript, CSS and HTML

• Strong experience on anyone programming languages like Java Springboot, Python, GO

• Experience in both nosql and sql databases

• Good understanding of application architecture and design principles

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

• Experience in SDN

• Knowledge of OSI layer and network device protocols

• Knowledge of Linux

• Experience with Git

• Experience with Jenkins & CICD

• Proficiency in Python & Shell scripting

• Proficiency in ELK for application monitoring and data analytics

• Proficiency in Apache Tomcat

• Knowledge of design patterns, software architecture, networking, and distributed systems

• Ability to develop and evaluate microservices and service-oriented architectures

• Ability to solve technical problems in a large & diverse eco-system
