Senior Design Manager

Job Purpose:

Drive to Design and Develop new products and to lead engineers to achieve Design & Development goals with high quality products.

Principal Accountabilities:

1. Project Management & On Time Delivery:
2. Approve vehicle architecture sheet after studying application & customer details.
3. Prepare project schedules, bids, or proposals.
4. Coordinating, streamlining and guiding design team to complete all design related projects in a timely manner.
5. Check all 3D Models, drawings, BOM, for accuracy.
6. Responsible for approving inspection plan & critical dimensions adherence plan.
7. Customer Focus:
8. Monitor the performance of the products and achieve minimum field failures due to design defects and work towards better performing products.
9. CAPA preparation.
10. Design of New Products and Innovation:
11. Research, Ideation, Benchmarking, Design calculations and Development of new products
12. Technical Lead for all the new projects.
13. FEA Execution & Study results and Verification of VA-VE Proposals.
14. Initiatives towards driving innovation.
15. Technical Collaboration:
16. Certification & Regulatory activities calculations and documents preparation.
17. ISO, TS & Audit documents preparation.
18. Inventory Auditing.
19. People Development:
20. Guidance to team members in their day-to-day job performance.
21. Technical Training & Development
