Job description for Casino Gaming Senior Dealer

As a Senior Dealer in a casino, your primary role is to oversee and manage the casino gaming operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that the casino games run smoothly, providing excellent customer service to players, and supervising junior dealers.

Key Responsibilities:

·        Overseeing the casino gaming operations, including managing game tables, supervising dealers, and ensuring that games are running smoothly.

·        Providing excellent customer service to players by greeting them, answering their questions, and resolving any issues that may arise.

·        Monitoring game transactions and ensuring that they are accurate and in compliance with casino policies and procedures.

·        Assisting with the training and development of junior dealers, including providing guidance and feedback on their performance.

·        Handling cash and other transactions, such as player buy-ins and payouts, in a professional and secure manner.

·        Maintaining a clean and organized gaming area and ensuring that all equipment is in good working order.

·        Monitoring and reporting any suspicious activity or behaviour to the appropriate authorities.

·        Participating in the development and implementation of new gaming initiatives and promotions.

·        Following all company policies and procedures, including those related to safety and security.

·        Maintaining a positive attitude and providing leadership and guidance to junior dealers at all times.

Qualifications:

• Min HSSC pass, diploma or equivalent required; additional training or certification in gaming may be preferred.
• Min 4 – 8 years of experience in Casino Gaming
• Strong knowledge of casino games, including rules, procedures, and etiquette.
• Excellent math skills, including the ability to quickly and accurately calculate bets and payouts.
• Strong communication and customer service skills, with the ability to interact effectively with a diverse range of customers.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Attention to detail, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve customer issues and complaints effectively.
• Ability to work well in a team environment, collaborating effectively with other dealers and casino staff.

Senior Dealer should have extensive knowledge of casino gaming operations and be able to manage and supervise a team of junior dealers effectively. You should also have excellent communication and customer service skills, be able to work well under pressure, and have a passion for providing an enjoyable and safe gaming experience for players.
