Senior Counsellor

Location: Bangalore (6-day workweek)

We seek talented and competitive Senior Academic Counsellors to thrive in a progressive sales environment at Emeritus, supporting UNSW Sydneys new Bengaluru campus.

The role drives student acquisition and revenue growth for international undergraduate/postgraduate programs in business, computer science, data science, and more, requiring self-driven professionals comfortable with calls, handling walk-ins, generating interest, qualifying leads, and closing enrollments.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and manage lead pipelines for UNSWs multi-disciplinary programs at the Bengaluru physical campus in India.
• Provide in-depth, customized program information to students and parents via video calls, phone, email, and handle walk-in inquiries.
• Counsel, follow up with prospects to drive conversions, manage walk-in sessions, and ensure proper pipelining from provided databases.
• Maintain accurate, real-time updates of all student interactions, walk-in leads, and progress in CRM systems like Salesforce.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• 2+ years in academic counseling or inside sales, preferably in education/higher ed/universities, with experience handling walk-ins.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills, with strong active listening to analyze student needs.
• Proven record of meeting/exceeding student acquisition targets; advanced Excel and Salesforce CRM proficiency for data analysis.
