Job Description
Role summary: You will write copy that gets attention and drives action. This role covers short-form content first (social, ads, on-ground collaterals), plus core brand and product copy across website, landing pages, email/WhatsApp, campaigns, and sales decks. Youll work closely with Social, Performance, Design, and Video teams to deliver high-quality copy fast, with minimal iterations.
What you will do:
- Write short-form copy across platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube Shorts scripts, X (if needed).
- Own copywriting for ads: Google search headlines/descriptions, Meta primary text/headlines, YouTube ad scripts, banner copy.
- Write website and landing page copy: page headlines, section copy, feature/benefit blocks, CTAs, microcopy.
- Support sales and marketing collaterals: brochures, flyers, standees, pitch decks, in-center screens, emailers, event invites.
- Create campaign messaging: big idea, key message, proof points, offers, CTA, and variations by audience segment.
- Translate briefs into output without hand-holding. Ask the right questions, then ship.
- Work with Design and Video teams to ensure the copy fits the format (space, hierarchy, rhythm, on-screen readability).
- Build and maintain a copy repository: taglines, headlines, CTA library, campaign lines, disclaimers, FAQs.
- Proofread and QA all copies before publishing. Zero tolerance for spelling, grammar, or factual errors.
- Collaborate with SEO/content team when needed (web/blog/SEO pages), but your primary ownership is short-form + campaign copy.
What success looks like (first 60 to 90 days):
- Faster copy turnaround with fewer iterations and clearer briefs.
- Stronger ad performance support through better hooks and variations.
- Noticeable improvement in social post quality: better hooks, tighter writing, clearer CTAs.
- Cleaner brand voice consistency across website, decks, ads, and in-center communication.
- A usable copy bank that helps the whole team move faster.
Must-have requirements (non-negotiable):
- 6 to 8 years of core copywriting experience with strong short-form work.
- Portfolio with real examples across social + ads + website/landing pages (links required).
- Ability to write multiple tones: premium, quirky, direct-response, founder-led, corporate.
- Strong understanding of how people skim content and what makes them stop.
- Ability to create variations quickly (10 headline options, 5 hooks, 6 CTA angles) without losing quality.
- Comfort working with fast-moving teams and tight timelines.
- Strong command over English writing ability is a plus (clean and modern, not forced).
Good-to-have:
- Experience in coworking, real estate, hospitality, consumer lifestyle, SaaS, or B2B services.
- Basic understanding of performance marketing metrics (CTR, CPC, CPL) and how copy impacts them.
- Experience writing for video: reels/shorts scripts, on-screen text, voiceover rhythm.
- Familiarity with brand guideline creation (voice, tone, dos/donts).
