About the Project

Eastern Estate Construction and Developers is seeking an experienced Civil Engineer to join our flagship Diamond City project in Ranchi - biggest private residential development that's redefining urban living in Jharkhand's capital.

Role Overview

We're looking for a results-driven Civil Engineer with 8-10 years of comprehensive experience in residential construction projects. You'll be responsible for end-to-end site execution, quality assurance, and timely project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of construction excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution & Management

• Oversee day-to-day civil construction activities including RCC work, masonry, plastering, finishing, and MEP coordination
• Ensure adherence to approved structural and architectural drawings, BOQ, and project timelines
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors for seamless project execution
• Manage site teams including junior engineers, supervisors, and labor workforce

Quality & Compliance

• Conduct quality inspections at every construction stage and ensure compliance with IS codes and RERA regulations
• Review and approve material testing reports and maintain quality documentation
• Implement safety protocols and maintain zero-tolerance for safety violations
• Ensure proper material storage, handling, and wastage control

Planning & Monitoring

• Prepare and update project schedules, work progress reports, and site diaries
• Monitor daily progress against targets and take corrective actions for delays
• Prepare material requisitions, consumption statements, and budget tracking reports
• Liaise with government authorities for necessary approvals and clearances

Technical & Problem-Solving

• Read and interpret structural drawings, architectural plans, and service drawings
• Resolve on-site technical issues and provide engineering solutions
• Conduct soil testing, survey work, and setting out activities
• Ensure proper construction methodology and best practices implementation

Required Qualifications

Education & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (B.Tech/B.E.) from a recognized institution
• 8-10 years of hands-on experience in residential construction projects
• Proven track record of managing multi-storey residential complexes or township projects

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and MS Office Suite
• Strong understanding of RCC structures, soil mechanics, and construction materials
• Knowledge of IS codes, NBC, RERA regulations, and local building bylaws
• Familiarity with modern construction techniques and project management tools

Core Competencies

• Excellent site supervision and team management capabilities
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
• Good communication skills in Hindi and English
