Role Description:

bolt is looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our growing analytics team on a full-time basis as part of the BOLT AI & Analytics group.

Our product is a complex, multi-tenant, web-based SaaS platform, built on a micro services architecture. Analytics Team is responsible for delivering our customers with actionable insights, embedded on the SaaS platform. You will be a key player in our analytics team and take part in designing and delivering analytics solutions to new and existing customers. You will suggest our customers efficient and sophisticated solutions to analyze and visualize their data. You will assist and mentor others to improve existing systems. You will be instrumental in fast tracking our Analytical new offering along with the additional support to existing tasks

You would be working with Tech & Business team to build the next gen Insure tech data solutions. In addition, you will have opportunities to explore insurance domain from end to end along with exposure to niche technologies like cloud computing, machine learning, artificial intelligence, self-service analytics, data services and many more

Responsibilities:

• Interact with stakeholders to understand and implement new business requirements
• Bring best practices to the table to enhance data warehouse efficiency
• Build processes and methodologies to implement new solutions
• Design interactive analytics dashboard to provide customers with actionable insights
• Analyse the existing data solutions to provide business solutions with quick turn around
• Contribute and create a motivating work environment within the team
• Mentor other team members and promote opportunities
• Stakeholder management

Qualification & Skills:

• Should have minimum 10+ years experience working as Business Analyst
• Mandatory to have good domain knowledge in P&C Insurance (Preferably in US Market)
• Should have a strong understanding of Data Warehouse concepts and hands on experience in implementing many Data Warehouse implementation projects
• Should have exposure or knowledge in Agency operation, MGA and Markets
• Should have excellent proficiency in writing SQL queries and pull ad-hoc data. Ability to validate and refine GenAI-generated SQL, insights, and narratives, ensuring accuracy and alignment with source data.
• Should have at least worked in 3 AIML / Gen AI projects end to end
• Experience using GenAI tools (Copilot/ChatGPT/Claude) to accelerate BI tasks such as requirement gathering, data exploration, SQL drafting, and documentation.
• Awareness of responsible AI usage, including data privacy, hallucination checks, and governed use of enterprise LLMs.
• Should be able to handle multiple time sensitive bugs/enhancements requests
• Should have ability to drive requirement gathering sessions and translate them into Business Intelligence solutions and create functional documentation and write specifications for development team
• Should have experience in designing DWH data models, data marts and exposure to tools like Toad Data Modeler, or similar tools
• Should have experience in source system study, source to target mapping (ETL specs), report specification
• Should have experience in supporting the Data Engineering team, Report development team, Quality Analyst team etc
• Should be able to support User Acceptance Testing, Production bugs
• Should have exposure to data analysis and visualization tools like PowerBI or similar tools
• Should be able to work independently and take ownership of end-to-end deliverables
