Senior Assistant – Warehouse Operations (Hoskote/Hosakote, Karnataka)
Job Summary:
We are looking for a Senior Assistant – Warehouse Operations to support daily warehouse activities, including inventory management, material handling, and order fulfilment. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role involves working closely with warehouse supervisors and team members to maintain a smooth and organized workflow.
Key Responsibilities:
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management:
•Assist in receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods as per operational requirements.
•Maintain accurate inventory records through regular stock counts and audits.
•Ensure proper labelling, tagging, and documentation of goods for easy identification and tracking.
•Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and LIFO (Last In, First Out) principles to manage stock rotation effectively.
Order Processing & Fulfilment:
•Assist in order picking and packing, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
•Work closely with the outbound and inbound teams to facilitate seamless movement of goods.
•Verify order details before dispatch to prevent errors and returns.
•Support in handling reverse logistics for returned or damaged products.
•Ensure proper loading and unloading of goods to prevent damages and delays.
Process Optimization & Compliance:
•Assist in optimizing warehouse workflows for improved productivity and efficiency.
•Adhere to warehouse safety guidelines, company policies, and compliance standards.
•Maintain cleanliness and organization within the warehouse to ensure a safe working environment.
•Support in documenting inbound and outbound shipments for audit and reporting purposes.

Required Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience:
•A diploma/degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is a plus.
•1 to 5 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or supply chain roles.
•Prior experience in inventory handling, order processing, and warehouse Operations is preferred.

Technical & Soft Skills:
•Knowledge of WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) and basic computer proficiency.
•Familiarity with barcode scanning, RFID technology, and warehouse documentation processes.
•Ability to multi-task, work under pressure, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
•Basic understanding of warehouse safety regulations and compliance standards.
•Training in warehouse safety and first aid is an advantage.
