Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Architect to drive the design and evolution of data pipelines, distributed services, and AI-enabled systems at Unosecur.
This role is focused on system architecture, data flow design, orchestration, reliability, and scalability . You will play a key role in shaping platforms that ingest, process, store, and analyze large-scale data while also driving AI-related initiatives across the organization.
Security knowledge is a strong add-on , but not a constraint . The primary expectation is architectural excellence, technical leadership, and the ability to build systems that can evolve rapidly.
Key Responsibilities
Data Platforms & Pipelines
- Design and own end-to-end data pipelines supporting:
Real-time streaming systems
Batch and scheduled processing
- Architect platforms for high throughput, low latency, and fault tolerance
- Define ingestion, enrichment, aggregation, and storage strategies for large datasets
- Design systems to handle huge storage requirements with efficient data lifecycle management
Distributed Systems & Services
- Design scalable microservices using Node.js
- Architect workflow orchestration and long-running processes using Temporal
- Build and operate services on Kubernetes
- Ensure systems are resilient, observable, and easy to extend
AI & Advanced Systems
- Drive and architect AI-related initiatives , including:
Data pipelines for ML/AI workloads
Feature generation and data preparation systems
Integrating AI-driven components into production platforms
- Ensure AI systems are scalable, reliable, and production-ready
- Collaborate with data science and engineering teams to operationalize AI models
DevOps & SRE Leadership
- Drive and monitor DevOps and SRE initiatives across the platform
- Define reliability, availability, and performance standards (SLIs/SLOs/SLAs)
- Guide practices around:
CI/CD pipelines
Infrastructure automation
Observability and incident management
- Ensure systems are designed with operability and reliability as first-class concerns
Cloud, Open Source & On-Prem
- Architect solutions using cloud-native technologies while remaining portable
- Design systems that run in:
Public cloud
Hybrid environments
On-prem deployments
- Evaluate and adopt open-source technologies thoughtfully
- Design architectures that avoid vendor lock-in and remain future-proof
Collaboration & Leadership
- Act as a technical leader and strong team player
- Communicate architecture and design decisions clearly to:
Engineers
Product teams
Leadership
- Mentor engineers and raise overall engineering maturity
- Lead design reviews and guide long-term technical strategy
Required Qualifications
Core Technical Skills
- 15+ years of experience in software engineering and system architecture
- Strong background in distributed systems and data platforms
- Proven experience designing real-time and batch data pipelines
- Hands-on experience with:
Node.js
Kubernetes
Workflow orchestration (Temporal preferred)
- Deep understanding of:
Event-driven architectures
Asynchronous processing
Failure handling, retries, and back-pressure
Storage & Networking
- Experience designing systems with large-scale storage requirements
- Good understanding of networking fundamentals :
TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing
Service networking in distributed systems
- Ability to reason about latency, throughput, and failure modes
Good to Have
Experience with:
Streaming platforms (Kafka, Pulsar, etc.)
Analytical, time-series, or OLAP databases (ClickHouse)
- Exposure to AI/ML platforms or MLOps
- Cloud security and identity concepts
- Experience building multi-tenant platforms
- Familiarity with observability stacks (metrics, logs, traces)
