Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced MIS Analyst with strong skills in Excel reporting and Power BI. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in MIS reporting, data analysis, and dashboard creation, primarily using Excel to deliver critical business insights. Experience with Power BI will be essential for creating interactive dashboards and enhancing reporting capabilities. Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

MIS Reporting & Data Analysis (Excel):

Develop and maintain Excel-based MIS reports for tracking key business metrics, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business needs.
Automate Excel reports, including the creation of pivot tables, macros, and complex formulas to streamline reporting processes.
Analyze and summarize data to present actionable insights in Excel reports for management and other business stakeholders.

Power BI Reporting & Dashboard Development:

Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards to provide interactive, real-time insights and visual representations of business performance.
Convert complex data sets into meaningful visual reports and metrics for various departments, aligning with business objectives.

Data Integrity & Reporting Automation:

Ensure the accuracy and consistency of data used in reports by performing regular data quality checks.
Streamline and automate report generation using Excel functions, Power Query, and Power BI, reducing manual effort and improving efficiency.

Stakeholder Communication & Reporting Insights:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements and ensure reports meet their needs.
Present insights and data analysis findings in clear, easy-to-understand formats, tailored to business and management audiences.

Process Improvement & Reporting Efficiency:

Continuously evaluate reporting processes and tools for efficiency improvements, identifying opportunities to automate and optimize data workflows.
Recommend and implement improvements to Excel-based reporting processes to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and usability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Experience: 3+ years of experience in MIS reporting and data analysis roles, with a focus on Excel.
Excel Expertise: Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, formulas, macros, and data visualization.
Power BI: Proficiency in Power BI to create dynamic, interactive reports and dashboards.
Data Analysis: Strong ability to analyze large datasets, identify trends, and present actionable insights.
Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in data reporting and analysis, with a strong focus on ensuring data integrity.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

Familiarity with Power Query and Power Automate for report automation.
Experience with SQL for data querying and integration into Excel or Power BI reports.
Knowledge of business intelligence (BI) principles and practices.
Experience in using other data visualization tools such as Tableau is a plus.
