About the Team and the Role The Visualisation team at Ather is responsible for creating high-quality visual assets and virtual reality experiences that showcase our products across multiple platforms. This team ensures that every design evaluation and decision is backed by high-fidelity imagery and innovative storytelling.

This role is for a Senior 3D Visualiser who will lead the creation of production-level CGI and animations. You will be responsible for setting up design workflows for visual design and VR, supporting cross-functional requirements, and working closely with designers to determine the best ways to showcase Ather’s product portfolio.

Responsibilities

• Generate high-quality production-level imagery and animations for use across multiple digital and physical platforms.

• Create high-fidelity visuals to support design evaluation and executive decision-making processes.

• Establish and optimize design processes and workflows for visual design and Virtual Reality (VR) integration.

• Support cross-functional team requirements by providing specialised product visuals and animations.

• Collaborate closely with the design team to interpret product features and identify optimal ways to showcase them.

• Stay updated with emerging CGI and VR trends, tools, and techniques to maintain industry-leading output.

Experience and Qualifications

• Any Educational qualification to support your experience in Industrial Design.

• About 7 to 9 years of experience working within an Industrial Design or Automotive design team.

Must Have Competencies

• Comprehensive knowledge of CGI production principles including composition, lighting, materials, and textures.

• Proficiency in establishing professional CGI workflows utilising backplates and HDRI environments.

• Deep understanding of photographic and artistic principles such as color theory, light theory, focal length, and exposure.

• Technical expertise in visualisation tools including Blender and Unreal Engine with integrated VR capabilities.

Good to Have Competencies

• Specialised experience in visual design specifically tailored for Automotive or Industrial Design environments.

• Proficiency in integrating Virtual Reality (VR) workflows within the standard design evaluation process.

• Advanced attention to detail in executing high-quality production-level animations.

• Ability to translate complex product requirements into high-fidelity visual assets for cross-functional stakeholders.
