Security Lead

The ideal candidate will lead initiatives to generate and engage with business partners to build new business for the company. This candidate will be focused and have strong communication skills. They should be able to think critically when making plans and have a demonstrated ability to execute a particular strategy.

Role Summary

The Security Lead will own endtoend security architecture, governance, compliance, and operational security for large Government programs. The role ensures secure design, implementation, monitoring, and audit readiness across cloud/onprem environments serving critical Government platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture and security solutioning for Government RFPs (Central & State).
• Define and govern security controls across cloud, network, application, data, and identity layers.
• Ensure compliance with GoI frameworks (CERTIn, DPDP Act, NIC/MeitY guidelines, ISO 27001).
• Oversee vulnerability management, penetration testing, security hardening, and incident response.
• Establish and manage SIEM/SOC operations, SOC playbooks, and 247 monitoring where required.
• Work closely with Solutioning, Infra, Delivery, Cloud, and OEM security partners.
• Support security documentation, audits, and bid defense presentations for Government clients.

MustHave Skills

1. Strong background in cybersecurity architecture, compliance, and audit for Government/regulated sectors.
2. Handson experience with cloud security (AWS/Azure), microsegmentation, IAM, encryption, key management.
3. Experience implementing GoIspecific compliance frameworks and reporting processes.
4. Ability to design and operationalize SOC/SIEM environments (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ELK, Sentinel).
5. Strong ability to review security designs, assess risks, and drive remediation with crossfunctional teams.

Preferred Background

• Experience in eGovernance, Digital Public Infrastructure, identity systems, or large publicsector platforms.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, CCSP, or cloud security certifications (AWS/Azure).
• Experience working with CERTIn empaneled audit firms or security vendors.
