Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary: As a Scrum Master, you will be responsible for enabling the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Your typical day will involve coaching and mentoring the Scrum Team(s), facilitating scrum and agile ceremonies, and identifying and reporting progress via appropriate metrics. Roles & Responsibilities: - Coach and mentor the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. - Facilitate scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. - Identify and report progress via appropriate metrics, ensuring transparency and visibility to the team and stakeholders. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Owners, Developers, and Quality Assurance, to ensure alignment and successful delivery of software solutions. - Continuously improve the team's Agile practices, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to increase efficiency and effectiveness. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Experience in Avanade Scrum Project Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience in Agile methodologies, Scrum Framework, and other Agile practices. - Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile principles. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams. - Experience in identifying and mitigating risks, ensuring successful delivery of software solutions. - Ability to lead and facilitate meetings, ensuring productive and efficient use of time. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 5 years of experience in Avanade Scrum Project Management. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science, engineering, or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering successful software solutions using Agile methodologies. - This position is based at our Pune office.
