Job Description
Project Role Description : Acts as an enabler for the effective functioning of a software development team using Agile methodologies. Coaches and mentors the Scrum Team(s), removing barriers to successful implementation and enabling a continued focus on the task at hand. Facilitates scrum and agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Identifies and reports progress via appropriate metrics.

Summary As a Scrum Master, you will play a pivotal role in enabling Agile software development teams to perform at their best. You will guide teams in adopting Agile principles, facilitate key ceremonies, remove impediments, and ensure alignment between team objectives and business goals. Your leadership will foster focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement, helping teams deliver high-quality outcomes. Additionally, you will serve as a central point of contact across multiple teams, supporting strategic decisions and promoting seamless cross-functional collaboration. Roles & Responsibilities • Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Agile project management practices. • Facilitate core Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement. • Coach and mentor team members on Agile principles and best practices. • Encourage team ownership, collaboration, and consensus-driven decision-making. • Coordinate across multiple teams to drive performance and deliver business value. • Serve as the single point of contact (POC) for escalations and key decisions impacting delivery. • Identify and remove impediments to maintain continuous delivery and avoid delays. • Enable cross-team problem solving by engaging relevant stakeholders and support functions. • Promote transparency and alignment through effective communication with stakeholders. • Track and report Agile metrics (velocity, burndown, cycle time) to monitor team health and identify improvement areas. • Support release activities, ensuring dependencies and deliverables are managed effectively. • Assist in securing necessary system and tool access for teams to ensure smooth execution. Professional & Technical Skills: • Strong expertise in Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and project management practices. • Proven experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and coaching teams. • Proficiency in Agile tools such as JIRA and Confluence. and other collab tools (Ex: Miro, MSWB etc) • Ability to interpret and leverage Agile metrics to drive continuous improvement. • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Additional Information • Experience: Minimum 12 years in Agile Project Management. • Education: Minimum 15 years of full-time education. • Location: Bengaluru/Hyderabad/Pune15 years full time education
