We are seeking a highly skilled SAP User Access/Security Operations Lead to join our Operations team. This role is critical in ensuring the security and compliance of our SAP systems, managing user access, and supporting various projects and operations.
As an SAP User Access/Security Lead, you will oversee user provisioning and de-provisioning, ensuring compliance with company policies and appropriate access levels. You will design and maintain security roles, profiles, and authorizations within SAP systems, and conduct regular access reviews and audits to ensure adherence to internal and external regulations.
Additionally, you will manage SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) modules, including Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management. Promptly responding to and resolving security incidents and access issues is crucial, as is collaborating with cross-functional teams to align security measures with business needs and industry best practices.
Key responsibilities include:
- Performing role change reviews and IDM role approvals.
- Providing Security Weaver support and addressing daily escalations.
- Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) reviews and managing change documentation.
- Organizing project transitions into support, streamlining processes, and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Managing vendor resources from AMS Vendors, ensuring Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for response and resolution are met.
- Overseeing financial management for the Security Track, preparing new contracts, and defining the Scope of Work for User Access initiatives.
- Leading the Security and User Access Track in projects, collaborating with SAP On-Prem and Cloud teams to manage security, user access, role creation, and IDM integration requirements.
This role needs strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. You should be able to work both independently and with a team. Good organizational skills and attention to detail are important. Experience with security audits and compliance is also needed. Being proactive and able to work well with different teams is key to success in this role.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. An advanced degree/ relevant certification such as SAP Certified Technology Associate - System Security Architect or SAP Certified Application Associate - SAP Access Control is preferred.
At least 8+ years of relevant experience in SAP security and user access management, with a strong understanding of SAP modules and security concepts.
