Role Overview

Gyansys is looking for a highly skilled and hands-on SAP EWM Functional Solution Architect who can lead end-to-end warehouse management solution design, drive delivery excellence, and support presales initiatives. The ideal candidate must bring deep expertise in Embedded or Decentralized EWM , strong customer-facing capability, and proven experience in global supply chain transformation programs.

This role comprises Solution & Delivery Ownership (75%) and Practice Development & Presales (25%) .

Key Responsibilities

1. Solutioning & Delivery Ownership (75%)

• Lead SAP EWM solution architecture across implementation, rollout, upgrade, and enhancement projects.
• Conduct requirement workshops, blueprinting, process mapping, and solution validation for Warehouse & Logistics operations.
• Provide hands-on configuration across core and advanced EWM processes.
• Own integration design between EWM and MM, SD, PP, QM, TM , and other logistics modules.
• Collaborate with ABAP/BTP technical teams for RICEFW requirements, functional specifications, and solution alignment.
• Drive end-to-end project delivery including SIT/UAT support, cutover planning, dress rehearsals, and post go-live stabilization.
• Ensure solution quality, adherence to SAP best practices, and alignment with business objectives.
• Support operational excellence initiatives through process optimization and digital warehouse solutions.

2. Practice Development & Presales (25%)

• Contribute to EWM practice growth by creating reusable templates, accelerators, SOPs, documentation, and best practices.
• Participate in presales cycles including RFP/RFI responses, customer demos, scoping workshops, and effort estimations.
• Represent Gyansys in solution discussions with customers and internal leadership.
• Upskill team members and conduct internal knowledge-sharing sessions on EWM capabilities and trends.

• Inbound processes (GR, unloading, putaway strategies)
• Outbound processes (picking, packing, staging, GI)
• Internal warehouse operations (replenishment, bin movements, stock transfers)
• Physical Inventory & Cycle Counting
• Warehouse Structure Setup (Storage Types, Sections, Activity Areas, Process Types)

SAP EWM Advanced Features

• RF Framework configuration and device-based operations
• Wave Management & Pick-Pack-Pass
• Yard Management (YMS)
• Slotting and Replenishment
• Resource Management & Labor Management

Integration

• MM (Procurement & Inventory Management)
• SD (Outbound Delivery Processing)
• PP (Staging, Production Supply, Backflush)
• QM (Quality Inspections)
• TM (Freight Unit, Freight Order Integration)

Preferred Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with S/4HANA Embedded EWM (preferred) and/or Decentralized EWM .
• Understanding of WM migration and cutover from ECC to S/4HANA.
• Experience with Automation tools (AMRs, Conveyors, ASRS), RF devices, or IoT-based warehouse solutions (good-to-have).
• Exposure to EDI/IDoc integration (advantage).

Education

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
