Job Description

Role Purpose

The purpose of the role is to support process delivery by ensuring daily performance of the Production Specialists, resolve technical escalations and develop technical capability within the Production Specialists.

Do

• Design, develop, and implement complex automated workflows and job chains using Redwood's capabilities, including event-driven scheduling and cross-platform process automation.
• Leverage Redwood Script (a Java-like language) for scripting complex scenarios and interacting with the Redwood repository API.
• Integrate Redwood with various SAP applications (like SAP S/4HANA, SAP ECC, SAP BW, SAP PI/PO), leveraging Java for custom connectors and APIs as needed.
• Configure and maintain SAP systems for central process scheduling with Redwood,
• Manage job scheduling across SAP environments, ensuring adherence to SLAs and optimizing resource utilization.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal uptime and reliability of automated processes.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including job definitions, job logs, and audit trails.
• Collaborate with business users and functional teams to gather requirements, analyze needs, and translate them into automated solutions.
• Stay up to date with the latest Redwood and SAP technologies.

• Qualifications:

  • Advanced knowledge of JAVA and Redwood Script.
  • A strong understanding of Central Process Scheduling by Redwood/Business Process Automation by Redwood concepts, including job definitions, job chains, event handling, and process servers.
  • Experience with integrating Redwood with various SAP modules (e.g., SAP ERP, SAP PI/PO) and other enterprise applications.
  • Knowledge of SAP Basis concepts, including RFC connections, authorization management, and system monitoring.
  • The ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to Redwood applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
