Job Description for SAP PS consultant

Experience: 4 to 8 Years (Pure Implementation Experience)

Location: Chennai , Ahmedabad

Key Responsibilities

• SAP PS Configuration:

Configure and customize SAP PS master data and transactional data, including Project Definitions, WBS structures, networks, and network profiles.

• Solution Design:

Develop detailed functional specifications for RICEF objects (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflow) to meet business requirements.

• Integration:

Ensure seamless integration of SAP PS with other SAP modules, such as Finance (FI), Controlling (CO), Sales (SD), and Materials Management (MM).

• Project Planning:

Assist in creating project plans and provide expertise for scope definition.

• Business Process Optimization:

Analyze and map client business requirements to SAP PS processes, ensuring optimal solution design.

• Financial Processes:

Manage processes related to project cost planning, revenue planning, budgeting, and revenue recognition.

• Training and Support:

Conduct user training sessions and provide ongoing support to end-users.

• Data Migration & Upgrades:

Assist with data migration and system upgrade projects related to the SAP PS module.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Experience:

A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in SAP PS, including experience with SAP S/4 HANA.

• Education:

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

• Technical Skills:
• In-depth configuration knowledge of WBS, Networks, Cost Planning, Budgeting, Project Procurement, and Time sheets.
• Strong understanding of integration with FI/CO, SD, MM, and HR (CATS).
• Knowledge of Results Analysis, Version Management, and Project System Reporting.
• Familiarity with RICEF developments.
• Soft Skills:

Excellent problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

• Project Experience:

Proven experience in end-to-end implementations of both capital and customer-based projects.
